  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Baked tortilla chips or garlic bread, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, purée blueberries.
