Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan set over medium-high heat, stir together blueberries, sugar, and water; stirring occasionally, bring to a boil.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely.
- Transfer simple syrup to a blender and purée until smooth. Strain into a jar, pressing to extract all the syrup. Discard the solids. Seal and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
